Saffron Road Moroccan Barbecue Baked Lentil Chips: Crispy veggie chips that are substantially thicker yet lighter in texture than tortilla chips. Sized for dipping. The moroccan spice blend definitely lends a more distinct character than your typical barbecue flavor. Calbee Yuzu and black pepper shrimp chips: I grew up eating MSG-laden Calbee shrimp crackers, so it was neat to see they are celebrating 50 years. This is the first time I tried anything outside their original flavor. The crispy crackers had a tangy slightly sour seasoning that was more interesting than tasty. Better Made Special Barbecue flavored potato chips: This brand of chips was founded in Detroit, which is where I ate a bag during a conference snack break. The chips are thin and slightly crispy but mostly saturated with oil. Seasoned with a sweet tangy vinegar-based powder, it has all the classic flavorings of a bbq chip.
