Mu Mu Muesli Museli Cereal: While not literally crunchy, this muesli is textbook hippie, made with organic whole oats, dried cranberries, dates, coconuts, and raisins, along with almonds and flaxseed, all enclosed in a paper-based bag that feels like it's from a specialty market. On the back of the packaging is a map of the continental United States, listing exactly which state the various ingredients came from (e.g., the rolled oats and wheat flakes are from Iowa). It was pretty pricy, at a little over $6 from the C... (read more) 3.5/5.0

I unknowing purchased this bean-based cereal from Trader Joe's (I bought them because I was intrigued by the idea of Neapolitan cereal). It's made with a combination of chickpea, navy bean, and pinto bean powder along with brown rice. The crunch is heartier than normal corn and rice-based cereal (such as Kix, though the puffs are similar in size) and I can definitely taste that the cereal has "something" extra underneath t... It has a strong flavor that’s best diluted with a bowl of plain yogurt or cold milk. With milk, the granola takes on a preferably softer consistency, as otherwise it’s a little too crunchy. Overall, I don’t mind it, but it’s not a favorite. 3.0/5.0

Attributed to the Milk Bar franchise, the cereal milk flavor has since been duplicated by many. Although I’ve sampled it before, this is the first time I actually purchased the cereal milk flavored soft serve from its original source. The smooth texture was excellent, but the generous serving size might be best shared with others. The soft serve comes in a single ... (read more) 3.5/5.0

They taste like normal corn flakes at first (though thicker and thus less crispy than something like Kellogg’s Corn Flakes) but have a faintly sweet aftertaste that isn’t necessarily identifiable as pear (the juice used in this product) but has a vague almost apple like taste. It’s not a flavor I particularly enjoyed nor disliked and as a result can’t imagine purchasing again. 3.0/5.0

Puffed texture falls somewhere between Lucky Charms non-marshmallow pieces and Kix in density. Lightly sweetened with a pleasantly spiced cinnamon flavor. Organic take on kids cereal. 3.0/5.0
