Safeway Community Market Chocolate peanut butter maltballs: Massive multilayered malted milk ball with a malted inner core surrounded by a peanut butter filling, all encased in a glossy layer of milk chocolate. A much more interesting alternative to peanut butter cups. Doesn't have the same melt in your mouth texture other malted snacks may have due to the sheer volume of it. Sahne Muh-Muhs Caramel Fudge: Found in Natural Lawson, these caramels are originally from Germany and feature generous rectangular pieces that are more like fudge in texture than the chewy, stretchy caramel I expected. The consistency is coarse and grainy - it crumbles when you bite into it. I was disappointed to find that it didn't have a particular buttery flavor, tasting more of pure sugar than anything else. Skittles Sweet Heat Candies: First, I did not purchase this snack. It was shared with my batch at the Recurse Center earlier this summer, and when a bizarre snack is freely offered to me, you can bet I will at least give it a try. In between the styrofoam-like layers is a whole-milk cream. The milk flavor is more prominent than the chocolate, which makes it somewhat distinctive, but nonetheless not notably desirable. 2.0/5.0

Sour!tails blue raspberry sour candy: More sweet than sour, this pink and blue striped gummy candy has a paste-like interior that reminds me a bit of bubblegum and is flavored similarly to what I associate with brands like Hubba Bubba or Bubble Yum. It's like a Cow Tail with its chewy exterior and icing-like interior.
