Icee popping candy: People who know me know I'm not into movies. But the one thing I did love about movies as a kid was having an excuse to get an Icee, the horrendously sweet, artificially flavored slushie that turned your mouth blue. They are substantially bigger and less chewy than Haribo, with a dense texture. Frosted on the exterior, the gummies' initial flavor is strange and waxy, but the aftertaste is unmistakably ginger, with a pleasant amount of spice. Still, it has less ginger flavor than Asian ginger chew candies. 2.5/5.0

Texturally comes closest to American Nips candies, but with a waxier texture and bite as if it had been sitting out a little too long. The sugary milk chocolate on the interior holds it shape when you bite into the caramel. Overall, passable as a mass manufactired candy - neither good nor bad, it meets expectations. Purchased from the Copenhagen airport with loose Danish kroner coins. 2.5/5.0
