Quinn Popcorn cheddar & chipotle popcorn: Organic popcorn that feels light yet had a prominent and distinct flavor. Chipotle kick is more smoky than spicy. The company prints a batch number on the package so you can learn more about where the ingredients come from. It's not something I'm personally interested in but I did it for the purposes of this review. Honestly, I really just care about whether or not it tastes good, and it does. 4.0/5.0

Real Coco Organic coconut water: I somehow managed to get the stomach flu, so to supplement a box of saltines, I purchased some electrolyte-rich beverages. The first was this carton of organic coconut water, which had a pleasantly neutral taste. It’s just sweet enough, and has a thirst quenching, clean flavor. I would drink this, even when not sick! 4.0/5.0

Reem’s Hibiscus Rose Cooler: Finally made it to Reem’s, the middle eastern cafe in Fruitvale (Oakland) specializing in housemade flatbread. To accompany the robust za’atar-spiced flatbread, I got a cup of refreshing and sharp hibiscus rose cooler, a purple-maroon colored drink that tasted of an amped-up floral pomegranate juice. Well balanced and perfectly complementary, it rounded out a complete, delicious meal at Reem’s. 4.0/5.0

Ring Baked Tofu Donuts Adzuki Donut: Ring is a donut shop in Los Angeles I've been wanting to try for a long time but haven't until now because it's a bit out of the way in Canoga Park. Their vegan donuts are made from tofu from Meiji Tofu (previously reviewed on Tasty Snacking) along with other high quality local ingredients.
