Gott's Roadside Chocolate and Vanilla Softserve: After a long rainy week, I was craving a warm baked dessert and thought for sure I could find one in the Ferry Building on my way home. Unfortunately, I wasn't interested in cupcakes, leftover bread, or gluten-free desserts, and the line for Humphrey Slocombe was far too long. I noticed that Gott's Roadside had a sign for Strauss Creamery, whose yogurt I had recently enjoyed, so i decided to give it a try. The way they're preserved gives each chestnut an unpleasantly wet and slimy exterior. The flavor is slightly sweet and nutty but also strangely earthly, like mushrooms. Each pack contains about two servings worth of snacking. From Hmart. 2.0/5.0

Stopped by Hanco’s, a Vietnamese sandwich shop a few blocks from where I live, to ask where to find. They told me there were no asian grocery stores in the area and I would probably need to go to Chinatown. The sandwiches at Hanco’s were pretty good, but this bubble tea was quite bad - very diluted and milky tasting, with overly chewy boba. Might need to go to Chinatown for that too. 2.0/5.0

The small bag somehow contains 4.5 servings, which makes this one of the most unhealthy snacks I've tried for tasty snacking. The flavor does not justify the fat content-these crunchy cheese snacks do not taste particularly good. 2.0/5.0

On the plus side, the drinks contains an entire lemon, sliced into wedges. But the overall effect is black tea I can easily make at home. Good thing it was free (from the buy one get on free promotion during Happy Lemon’s opening weekend in Berkeley). 2.0/5.0
